Bear River is a Tidal Village in the Bay of Fundy. Walking distance to Bear River Village. A wide variety of Artisans, restaurants offering fresh seafood and also local crafts and artwork in the Flight of Fancy (award winning gallery that hosts a variety of local and Maritime artists) and Sissiboo Coffee brewed locally.
We have two local wineries, The Bear River Winery located across the road from the house and Annapolis Valley Vineyard which is 3 km away. Digby is located 10 minutes which hosts Lobster Fest, Digby Scallop Days and The Wharf Rat Rally. Annapolis Royal is 30 minutes away with the most famous Farmers Market, being held Saturdays and Wednesdays and Historical Gardens. Digby Ferry to St. John, NB run daily and Brier Island has Whale watching in the summer months.
