Located on the Northumberland Strait, overlooking the Confederation Bridge, New Brunswick and the lighthouse at Sea Cow Head. Gentle waves caress the beach on the South Shore of Prince Edward Island. At low tide, you can walk for miles enjoying the soft breezes -- all the while searching for a special stone sparkling in the sunlight or that perfect seashell. Davidson's By-the-Shore is minutes from the Confederation Bridge; 20 minutes from Summerside with its shopping, historic district, theatre, College of Piping, Spinnakers Landing and the new and exciting Boardwalk on the Waterfront. The National Park, Cavendish, and Green Gables are just 30 minutes away, as are numerous first class golf courses, fine dining and other beaches with white sand, red sand and singing sand. Charlottetown, the historic site of Canada's Confederation, is just 30 minutes away. All Island destinations are within a 1-1/2 hour drive of the cottage. While away the time with a good book on the deck; relax in front of the fireplace; listen to your favourite music; take a romantic walk on the beach; watch the glorious sunsets from the deck; and let the sound of waves lull you to sleep. There are plenty of games for the children. The comforts of home await you with a fireplace, electric heat and ceiling fans; TV/VCR/DVD, Satellite Dish; radio/CD player, phone, washer and dryer; dishwasher and microwave; Bar-B-Q and picnic table. There are three comfortable bedrooms decorated with white linens and colorful quilts and duvets. The Master Bedroom has a king-size bed with its own ensuite with a shower. Two other bedrooms share a four-piece bathroom, one has a queen size bed, while the children's room has both a double and a single bed. Also, there is a queen size hide-a-bed in the Great Room.
