A beautifully restored, classic Victorian-style Inn in Lunenburg.
Old Town Lunenburg and Area - As one of Nova Scotia's most historic and beautiful towns, Lunenburg's colourful waterfront, narrow streets and captivating architecture are all under a 5 minute walk from The Lunenburg Inn.
From our front step walk, jog or cycle the 3 kilometre [6k return] trail created from Lunenburg's former rail line, hugging the Back Harbour to return through the historic streetscapes of "Old Town". Here you will discover craft shops, art galleries along with fine restaurants and coffee shops. Located harbourside is the Fisheries Museum of the Atlantic and if in port, our pride, the sleek Bluenose II. Whale watching, sailing and harbour tours are all available from the town's waterfront.
Within easy driving distance are some of Nova Scotia's finest white sand beaches - Kingsburg, Hirtles, Rose Bay, take a fishing excursion from the quaint fishing villages of Blue Rocks and Stonehurst or meander along the shore toward Mahone Bay or back to Riverport and down the LaHave River Valley.
