Bed and Breakfast overlooking the islands of Shoal Bay.
The Paddlers Retreat Bed & Breakfast overlooks the islands of Shoal Bay in the the tiny village of Tangier, along Nova Scotia’s rugged Eastern Shore.
This rustic fishermans home is the oldest in the community and was built in 1860, just prior to the gold rush that made Tangier the “Klondike” of Nova Scotia for over a decade. It has been tastefully renovated and maintains the character of those earlier times. Most of our guests are paddlers, either our own clients or others exploring our region on their own.
