Located in the heart of St. Andrews' National Historic District, The inn is an exquisite example of the sea side town's Loyalist roots. Built in 1798 by Sea Captain David Mowat for his wife Mehitible and their ten children, the large Georgian house has evolved from home, hotel, stage coach stop and boarding house.
