Alberton

Alberton is located in Prince County, on the North Shore of western Prince Edward Island. You can visit the Alberton Museum and Genealogy Centre, the former town courthouse, now a national historic site. It contains displays of artifacts of early residents; many local photos illustrating the history of Alberton and its inhabitants; and extensive genealogical information on area families.
