River Bourgeois is a small community in Nova Scotia, located in Richmond County on Cape Breton Island. Canadian writers and activists, Farley Mowat, and his wife, Claire, have their summer home there. It is the hometown of former NHL player Mike McPhee. His father still lives in his childhood home.
