West Arichat is a community in Nova Scotia which was once called Little Arichat. In 1866, it changed its name to Acadiaville.
West Arichat was a mission of Arichat. It became a parish in 1862. The Immaculate Conception church burnt in and was rebuilt in the 1970s.
